How to Rank First For My Website in Google

A lot people believe that it is hard to rank first in the Google search engine. Some of the competitive keywords are indeed hard but not impossible while there are a lot more of the keyword phrases out there waiting for us to dominate the arena. That is why concentrating on a sub-niche of a niche is better than attacking on a general niche like "make money online", "golf", "electronics", etc. You stand a much better chance in succeeding in a sub-niche more.

Here are some of the things that Google look for, in placing your website on top of the food chain:

On-Page Optimization for Webpage

These are the areas where you must have the keyword appear in:

Title Tag
Meta Description
H1 Tag
Alternate Tag
Meta Keywords

Good Internal Linking
I have web pages that do not have external linking to it yet still rank top of the Google search result, because of other web pages of my website linking back to it. The best way to do this is to use anchor text on the other web pages, pointing to one web page. This can be done easily if your website has CSS on it. It can be use on the main navigation of the website as well, this will also act as an anchor text for the web page. Do note that anchor text must be a keyword related to your product or services.

Off-Page Optimization For Web Page

This can be done by various ways, the most common way is to write articles that has anchor text (keyword) directing to a specific web page. The keyword must appear in the title, the content and the anchor text of the article in order to maximize the content relevancy. External linking generally comes from article submission, linking back to the related web page. Do note that a lot of people made a very serious mistake in linking back to the home page of the website, this can still be done by adding the URL of website on the resource box, yet have anchor text of the related topic pointing to the single webpage in the resource page as well.

Making Full Use Of Home Page

The home page of your website should be stuffed with lots of related keywords on it as anchor texts or navigation system of the website. The home page is usually a summary of what your product or services is all about, what you need to do is to use anchor text on the summary, and direct to the related web page. The home page can use the main primary keyword phrase you are targeting, and the other web pages on related topics of the primary keyword phrase.

Update Frequently
The last important thing is to frequently update your website, Google loves new content, it order to get them to rank you well, getting Google to visit you frequently is a must. For website I would recommend to update at least twice a week, get Google to come to your website as a habit this will help you greatly in Search Engine Optimization

If you have done the above 5 things consistently, you will see yourself ranking on the top of the Google search engine very soon.There is a saying that the older the website or web page the harder it gets kick off, this is true for websites that have the above tips. BUT for those that do not use the above tips, they are always ready to be kick out of the top search result.
